#NOKIA 8 VS ONE PLUS 3T VS SAMSUNG GALAXY C9 PRO.

First of thankyou all for your response on my last post comparing budget smartphones… Today am going to compare b/w three flagships of this year, out of which one is launched & other is expected to be lunch in next month…
So, if you are planning to buy a new smartphone then you must give some time to read this post… Today we are comparing NOKIA 8 VS ONE PLUS 3T VS SAMSUNG GALAXY C9 PRO.

Comparing Between :-

  • NOKIA 8, RS 33900(expected), 6GB RAM, 3000mAh.
  • ONE PLUS 3T, RS 29,999, 6GB RAM, 3400 mAh.
  • SAMSUNG GALAXY C9 PRO, RS 29,999, 6GB RAM, 4000mAh.

Nokia 8 :-

Nokia 8, this flagship of the Nokia Android phones released so far, runs Android 7.0 Nougat and sports a 5.7-inch full-HD, very sharp, 2.5D screen with Corning Gorilla Glass-5 protection and a fingerprint sensor right below the display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. In terms of optics, Nokia 8 comes with a 24-megapixel rear sensor and an 12-megapixel camera at front for taking selfies.

The new Nokia Android phone comes with 64GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Nokia 8 houses a 3000mAh battery, features a 6000 series aluminium body, and has inbuilt dual speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

One Plus 3T:-

In this price segment, it would be unfair to start with any other smartphone for comparison than the One Plus 3T. The One plus smartphone is currently available in India with 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage. As the 6 GB RAM variant is closest to Nokia 8 in terms of pricing, available at Rs.29,999 , we will be considering it for the comparison with new Nokia offering.

The dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) One Plus 3T runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC. Its rear camera bears a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor equipped with PDAF (phase detection auto focus), an f/2.0 aperture. The One Plus 3T front camera sports a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor. One Plus 3T houses a 3400mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro:-

Moving to the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone, the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and sports a 6.0-inch super AMOLED (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM.

 In terms of optics, the Galaxy C9 Pro features a 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. On the front is also an 16-megapixel camera with f/1.9 aperture. The smartphone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via micro-SD card (up to 256GB). It houses a 4000mAh battery.


Now that you know more about Nokia 8 and its competition, it is fairly clear that the competition offers some powerful specs in comparison to the smartphone. However, the real choice you will have to make is whether you are ready to compromise on specs offered on sheets for the nostalgia factor. We will learn more about Nokia 8 and its performance in the coming days…
